Meet Anna

Hello! I’m so glad you are here. My design journey started many years ago as a young girl but really took off during our personal home build experience. I decided to tackle all the design work for our 5500 square foot custom home and realized through the process how much I loved creating a vision and bringing it to life. My background in occupational therapy helped me understand the importance of integrating form and function and fusing the two to build a home that not only looks beautiful, but serves as a way for a family to thrive, make memories, and be lived in.

The build process fueled my fire.

While overwhelming at times, the excitement of bringing a vision in your mind into a full blown home ignited my soul. I learned so much along the way not only from a design perspective, but in the technicalities of different trades and being able to clearly describe and communicate the details that make a project special. I did this alongside my husband and 3 kids, the youngest who was born 1 week before we broke ground.

During the build, at the peek of my sleep deprivation (hello 4 month sleep regression) I decided to start @homeandstylewithanna- an Instagram account to document the journey.
